5ème édition Festival historique Almelo sera un grand spectacle

Het historisch festival Almelo wil de 5e lustrum editie groots aanpakken.

'Wij willen de vijfde keer groots, met veel scholen en reenactors vieren. Nieuwe elementen, publiek uit heel Nederland en reenactors uit heel Europa komen een weekend lang samen in het Schelfhorstpark te Almelo.' aldus Martijn Makkinga, groot aanstichter van dit tweejaarlijkse festival.

Helaas door de coronamaatregelen ziet de organisatie zich genoodzaakt om de 5e lustrum editie wederom een jaar uit te stellen.

'Om het lustrum goed, veilig en gedegen te organiseren voor ons publiek en de scholen, zien wij geen andere optie dan het festival met een jaar uit te stellen. Veiligheid waarborgen voor iedereen staat voorop. Daarin schuilen nu teveel onzekerheden door corona. Mag het hele land weer open? Welke 'G' regel is te zijner tijd van toepassing? En wat betekent dit voor bv de beveiliging en toegang van het park? Hoe hoog zijn de besmettingen op de scholen en hoe hoog is daarmee tevens de belasting voor docenten, kinderopvang en ouders bijvoorbeeld?

Het weekend van 21,22 en 23 april 2023 gaat het gebeuren! De vijfde lustrum editie van het Historisch Festival Almelo in het Schelfhorstpark te Almelo.

De wens om het grootser aan te pakken zit bijvoorbeeld in het aantal reenactors, het centrum betrekken bij het festival of bijvoorbeeld uitbreiding van de betrokkenheid van jeugd door ook buitenschoolse opvang te benaderen en daar een programma voor te maken. Het lesmateriaal wat normaliter gedrukt, zal met hulp van een reclamebureau gedigitaliseerd en gemoderniseerd worden en ga zo maar door. Het bestuur heeft de plannen klaar en gaat zich het komende jaar buigen over de uitvoering en afspraken om er een Knallend weekend van te maken.

Noteer de datum alvast in je agenda, vrijdag 21 april 2023 is de opening van het festival waarna we zaterdag en zondag samen met kinderen, reenactors, bezoekers, vrijwilligers et cetera er een knallend weekend van zullen maken.

Nous voulons célébrer la cinquième fois en grand, avec de nombreuses écoles et reconstitutions. De nouveaux éléments, des publics de tous les Pays-Bas et des reconstituteurs de toute l’Europe se réunissent pour un week-end au Schelfhorstpark d’Almelo, explique Martijn Makkinga, grand instigateur de ce festival biennal.

Malheureusement, en raison des mesures corona, l’organisation est obligée de reporter la 5ème édition d’une année.

« Afin d’organiser cette cinquième édition correctement, en toute sécurité et en profondeur pour notre public et les écoles, nous ne voyons pas d’autre option que de reporter le festival d’un an. Assurer la sécurité de tous est primordial. Il y a maintenant trop d’incertitudes dues au coronavirus. Tout le pays peut-il rouvrir ? Quelle règle « G » s’appliquera en temps voulu? Et qu’est-ce que cela signifie pour, par exemple, la sécurité et l’accès au parc? Quel est le niveau des infections dans les écoles et quel est le fardeau pour les enseignants, les services de garde d’enfants et les parents, par exemple?

Le week-end des 21, 22 et 23 avril 2023 ça va arriver ! La cinquième édition du Festival historique Almelo dans le Schelfhorstpark à Almelo.

Le désir de s’y attaquer de manière plus large est, par exemple, dans le nombre de reconstituteurs, en impliquant le centre dans le festival ou, par exemple, en élargissant la participation des jeunes en abordant également les soins extrascolaires et en élaborant un programme pour cela. Le matériel didactique qui est normalement imprimé sera numérisé et modernisé avec l’aide d’une agence de publicité et ainsi de suite.
