Chers reconstitueurs,
Les célébrations du 208ème anniversaire de
la bataille de Waterloo approchent.
Les organisateurs ont prévu un programme de festivités
ambitieux. Ils mettront à l’honneur la participation de reconstitueurs venant
de plusieurs pays d’Europe.
Les détails du programme et les informations vous
seront transmis ultérieurement.
Cette année, et pour la première fois, nous faisons le choix de décaler la date de l’événement (1er et 2 juillet 2023). Cette décision a été prise à la suite d’un changement de rythme et de calendrier scolaire en Belgique francophone.
Mais aussi pour toucher un large public.
Cependant nous n’oublions pas la date historique du
18 juin. Une après-midi commémoration sera organisée avec notamment un
dépôt de gerbe et une cérémonie officielle. Vous et votre groupe êtes conviés à
cette après-midi de commémoration. Nous espérons vous y retrouver.
Vous trouverez, en cliquant sur le lien ci-dessous, un
document en ligne à remplir pour l’inscription de votre groupe au bivouac et à
la bataille les 1er et 2 juillet ainsi que pour la commémoration du
18 juin.

Merci de nous retourner ce document pour le 31 mars 2023 au plus tard. Passé cette date, plus aucune inscription ne sera possible.
Il est possible que les organisateurs vous demandent de fournir des photos de votre groupe afin de vérifier que vos uniformes sont conformes.
Une convention de participation ainsi qu'un règlement vous seront transmis après la validation de votre inscription par les organisateurs.
Nous espérons vous voir nombreux sur les plaines du champ de bataille dans quelques mois.

De viering van de 208ste verjaardag van de Slag bij Waterloo
nadert.
De organisatoren hebben een ambitieus programma van festiviteiten gepland. Ze zullen de deelname van re-enactors uit verschillende Europese landen eren.
Programmadetails en informatie worden u later toegestuurd.
Dit jaar hebben we voor het eerst gekozen voor een verschuiving
van de datum van het evenement (1 en 2 juli 2023). Deze beslissing werd genomen
naar aanleiding van een wijziging van het ritme en de schoolkalender in Franstalig
België. Maar ook om een breder publiek te bereiken.
Wij vergeten echter niet de historische datum van 18 juni.
Er wordt een herdenkingsmiddag georganiseerd met een kranslegging en een
officiële plechtigheid. U en uw groep zijn uitgenodigd voor deze
herdenkingsmiddag. Wij hopen u daar te zien.
Via onderstaande link vindt u een onlinedocument om in te vullen
voor de inschrijving van uw groep voor het bivak en de veldslag op 1 en 2 juli
en voor de herdenking op 18 juni.

Gelieve dit document uiterlijk op 31 maart 2023 terug te
sturen. Na deze datum zijn er geen inschrijvingen meer mogelijk.
De organisatoren kunnen u vragen om foto's van uw groep om te
controleren of uw uniformen in orde zijn.
Een deelnemingsovereenkomst en reglement worden u toegestuurd
nadat uw inschrijving door de organisatoren is gevalideerd.

The celebrations of the 208th anniversary of
the Battle of Waterloo are approaching.
The organizers have planned an ambitious program of festivities. They will honor the participation of re-enactors from several European countries.Details of the program and information will be sent to you later.
This year, and for the first time, we have
chosen to shift the date of the event (1st and 2nd July 2023). This decision
was taken following a change of rhythm and school calendar in French-speaking
Belgium. But also, to reach a wider audience.
However, we do not forget the historic
date of 18 June. An afternoon of commemoration will be organized with a
wreath laying and an official ceremony. You and your group are invited to this
afternoon of commemoration. We hope to see you there.
